Joey King is the new Max Mara Face of the Future Award® 2024.

On October 24th, Joey King was honored as the 19th recipient of the annual WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award®. Women In Film is a non-profit organization engaged in the promotion of equal opportunities for women, sponsoring creative projects by female artists and supporting and promoting the representation of women in all forms of media worldwide. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Women In Film organization, which was founded in 1973.

Actress and producer Joey King is the 19th recipient of the annual WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award® in recognition of her extraordinary acting achievement and embodiment of timeless style and grace. Known for her versatility, Joey King gained fame with roles in The Conjuring and Netflix’s The Kissing Booth series. Her acclaimed portrayal of Gypsy Rose Blanchard in Hulu’s The Act earned her multiple nominations, including an Emmy. She stars in Netflix’s Uglies and recently appeared in two #1 movies, A Family Affair and Despicable Me 4. King also starred in We Were the Lucky Ones, a Hulu limited series.

The Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award®, inaugurated in the 2006 edition of the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, is conferred to the actress who is experiencing a turning point in her professional career due to her contributions to the community and her own personification of the concepts of style and grace.
